Glue and perfect binding in paper bag machines

The glued parts of the paper bag machine are on the spine and the side of the book, and the hot melt adhesive used is also different. For example, the performance of the two is also different, and the hot melt temperature is different. Whether it is appropriate or not is the most important for the quality of gluing and glue binding. It is important that the temperature of the melted glue is too high, which will make the melted glue too thin and the viscosity is insufficient. If the temperature of the melted glue is too high, the glue will be too thick to penetrate and flow, and some will be attached to the ridge surface or side in small granular blocks. The surface will make the cover wrinkled and hollow. It is worth mentioning that at present, the properties of hot melt produced by different manufacturers are not the same (we have such experience from actual use). Taking the temperature of hot melt used in our factory as an example, there are The side glue temperature is 120°C, the spine glue hot melt temperature is 135°C, and the side glue hot melt temperature is 180°C, and the spine glue heat is 200°C. Therefore, it is necessary to master the appropriate process parameters according to the performance of the material in order to ensure the quality of gluing. Under normal circumstances, after gluing, the width of the side glue coverage should be 4mm~5mm, and the spine glue can penetrate and fill the milling groove. When the glue is not uniform, the glue is too thin, and the cover plate of the paper bag machine is not replaced according to the regulations (or the height is adjusted properly), the books after the plastic bag are prone to empty ridges and wrinkled backs. This is what must be controlled and checked in the process of plastic packaging.

The finishing work before the plastic bag of the paper bag machine is a process that cannot be ignored in the whole process of wireless perfect binding. If the paper bag machine is not rectified in the finishing process, it will enter the plastic bag, then there will be many kinds of bad quality problems such as peeling, loose pages, empty ridges, and wrinkled ridges after the plastic bag. The finishing is to bundle the semi-finished book stickers, put a certain number of book stickers on the binding machine, fasten the two ends with plates, start the binding machine, compact the loose book stickers, and then bind them with ropes. In order to make the compacted back stiff and firm, after compacting and bundling, use polyethylene glue to paint the bound book back again. After the polyvinyl alcohol glue on the brush is dry, loosen the binding rope, and then apply polyethylene glue. Each book is cleaned separately and transferred into plastic bags.
